Thinking of participating in the 2015 Wharf 2 Wharf? We have a free entry for you!

As the official local charity of the Waiheke Wharf 2 Wharf, the Jassy Dean Trust has one free entry to the 25km event in January 2015. Want to get your hands on one? All you need to do is to agree to run or walk the event as a 'Champion' for the Jassy Dean Trust.

Think of it as killing a bunch of New Year's Resolutions with one stone: Get fit & active / Lose some Christmas kg's / Build up your good karma / Get involved in the community / ....

You'll be joined by a handful of other champions including Alex Mackenzie, Mathew Smith, Mike Poland and the JDT Crew.

This year, all money raised by the Jassy Dean Trust through the Wharf 2 Wharf will be donated to the Waiheke Special Needs Group. This wonderful group consists of parent and families of children and young people with special needs. They encourage, empower and advocate for each other and for others who are 'differently abled.'

The group use Melanna House in Ostend as a base to provide activities, respite and fun for children with special needs.
