Yesterday the Jassy Dean Trust ran two classes teaching over 40 Waiheke Mums, Dads and caregivers how to perform life saving CPR on babies & children. We hope no one ever has to use what they learnt but we’re stoked that Waiheke’s a little safer for our little ones just in case.
A huge thanks to Charli Crocker for teaching the courses, Timmy Smith for helping organise the course for the Te Pa Harakeke whanau (and for feeding us!), Piritahi Marae for hosting us, Waiheke Nannies for helping with childcare and all the lovely Mums, Dads, Grandma’s and caregivers that took part.
Due to the success of the day, the Jassy Dean Trust will be running infant/child CPR courses for Waiheke parents again later in the year.
